Dominique Macri touches, amazes, enchants and scrutinises. Solo, as a couple or with a band. As a poet, presenter, trainer and speaker – on stages throughout the German-speaking world.

Dominique Macri comes from Marburg. She has been a slam poet, actress and qualified psychologist for over 20 years. From 2003-2017 she was active as an actress in the improvisation theatre ensemble “fast forward”. Solo engagements followed, including for the MMK Frankfurt and the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.

Since 2007, the artist has been travelling throughout German-speaking countries and Europe as a slam poet. In 2014, she and her team partner Dalibor won the international German-language poetry slam championships in Dresden as “Team Scheller”.

Since 2016, she has been working as a freelance consultant for Maiconsulting, Heidelberg (e.g. for Bosch, Media Saturn, Deutsche Bahn). In 2017, she travelled to Qatar as a trainer on behalf of the Goethe-Institut and received the Innovation Award from the German Speakers Association (GSA) for her Poetic Recording format, which she uses to summarise events in poetic form.

She is passionate about sharing her knowledge in slam workshops on management floors, improv tours for museums, spoken word shows with and without a band on small and large stages.

Dominique Macri can also be engaged as a slam poet with her own repertoire (solo or with Cégiu on cello and piano) or for museum improvisation tours through various exhibitions for permanently booked groups.
