Peter Wittkamp
Peter Wittkamp, born in 1981, is a freelance gag writer, author, copywriter and consultant in the field of online communication. He has worked for many years as the first author for the online presence of the satirical show heute-show; he has also written for Late Night Berlin or Neo Magazin Royale.
For years, he was the copywriter and idea generator for the #weilwirdichlieben campaign of the Berlin transport company BVG, which won numerous prizes and awards. With irony and wit, he helped ensure that Berliners actually won their local transport a little more dear. He gained his experience in advertising as one of the first employees at the Berlin agency TLGG. Before that, he was a market researcher for the music company Universal Music.
From time to time he writes. For example, for Zeit Online and in the Berliner Tagesspiegel. Or a book. Most recently, he wrote a very honest and humorous book about his obsessive-compulsive disorder entitled “Für mich soll es Neurosen regnen”. In addition, together with Opinary founder Pia Frey, he designed the conspiracy theory generator “Desinformator”, which deals with the subject in an entertaining and ironic way.

He also publishes the biweekly newsletter “Wittkamps Woche” on Steady. He tweets to around 63,000 followers as @diktator, but now almost prefers to post on Instagram. In total, more than 100,000 people follow him on social media.
His favorite quote comes from Karl Valentin and describes his way of working and his life quite aptly: “Every thing has three sides, one positive, one negative and one funny.”
