ORGATEC 2024 presented working environments with a festival feel
At the Wherever Whenever Work Culture Festival, which took place as part of ORGATEC 2024 in Cologne, the future of the world of work was discussed in an interactive and inspiring setting.
Over 100 international speakers and personalities, including Sascha Lobo, Ralf Rangnick, Bernd Hufnagl, Frauke von Polier, Cawa Younosi, Smudo and Yael Meier, who confidently represented GenZ, highlighted trends in team dynamics, generational conflicts, sustainability, AI and productivity in panels, live podcasts and keynotes. The three main themes of TEAM, IMPACT and LIFE attracted a wide range of perspectives on how to create healthy and efficient working environments.
Some areas were explored in greater depth in workshops, such as mental health in everyday working life with psychologist Dr. Eva Elisa Schneider and mental health expert Nora Dietrich. To keep the festival feeling alive between sessions, street artists, dancers, DJs and singers performed. And, as is usual for a festival, food was provided by the numerous food trucks. Thursday evening belonged to the Cologne carnival band Kasalla, who ended up turning every visitor who had travelled a long way into a Cologne fan.
Change of perspective & knowledge transfer
The Work Culture Festival owes its diverse selection of speakers in part to the commitment of LEADING MINDS, of which we are very proud. As a consultancy, LEADING MINDS played a key role in curating an exciting line-up of knowledge brokers, celebrities and people with impressive stories. The combination of experts, thought leaders and doers fostered a multi-faceted dialogue about the work culture of the future and enabled the audience to gather valuable perspectives and inspiration.
Overall, ORGATEC presented itself as a major industry event that offered innovative solutions for new work and hybrid working models. The next ORGATEC will take place from 27 to 30 October 2026.
